Tempestas is an original crashing wave painting by yours truly. Inspired endlessly by the the Welsh waves, and spending many hours a day at the beach on Anglesey, walking my dog, and wild swimming in warmer months, I am always trying to capture the beauty and power of the sea. If you inspect the scene closely, you can see across to the mainland from the island perspective of the painting. Tempestas translates to storm, from Latin, and this glimpse of the land on the other side symbolises the calm after the storm!
