Mounted Fox & Flowers Print

Foxes are symbols of intelligence, cunning and adaptability. This fox sits amongst a field of colourful flowers late at night — and if you look closely, you can see some stars faintly shining in the background sky.

This is a very different piece for me, aesthetically quite a change from the bright, colourful nature of my usual puffin paintings. It was inspired by some hardship I faced at the time, and is a reminder to myself and anyone else that even during difficult times, there is always beauty to be found if you set out to seek it. Ever a fan of the night sky — and being as foxes are nocturnal (as am I!!) — I thought it would be a beautiful change to depict a night scene.

I hand print every order myself on high quality 230gsm matte archival paper, then hand sign each print in pencil before mounting it in a soft off-white creamy bevel-edged mount. Complete with a sturdy card backing, it can be displayed as a standalone piece or framed. Sealed in a plastic-free protective sleeve for safe delivery.
