This wooden framed poster features my Beloved design - a deeply personal piece painted in the style of ancient Greek statuary, drawing inspiration from two of my favourites: Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderlings, and Homer's Odyssey.
At its heart, this piece is about reunion - the moment Odysseus returns to Penelope after twenty years of war and wandering, and she recognises him not by his face, but by his soul. It is one of the most quietly devastating moments in all of literature, and one that resonates deeply with the themes of love, loyalty, and longing that run through Robin Hobb's work too.
Painted in cool marble tones with the weight and stillness of ancient sculpture, Beloved is a meditation on enduring love and the people who wait.
